CROSS EYED PANDA (der schielende Panda) heißt eigentlich BING BING, aber niemand nennt in so. Er lebt im Tokioter Zoo zusammen mit seinen zwei Brüdern.
CROSS EYED PANDA's real name is BING BING, but nobody calls him that. He lives at the Tokyo zoo, together with his two brothers.
Statt wie seine Brüder den ganzen Tag Bambus zu essen, raucht CROSS EYED PANDA gelegentlich getrocknete Bambusblätter in einer kleinen Pfeife, die einem der Zoobesucher aus Versehen ins Gehege gefallen ist. Instead of eating bamboo all day like his brothers, CROSS EYED PANDA occasionally smokes dried bamboo leaves in a small pipe that one of the zoo visitors accidentally dropped into the compound. Böse Zungen behaupten, daß CROSS EYED PANDA seine Augen-Fehlstellung dem Genuß von Bambustabak zu verdanken hat, aber mehrere Augenzeugen berichten, daß er so geboren wurde. Rumor has it that CROSS EYED PANDAs malposition of the eyes is a result of his bamboo tobacco consumption. But several eye witnesses claim that he was born this way. Den Großteil des Tages verbringt CROSS EYED PANDA damit, von Orten, die er besuchen könnte, und von prominenten Person, die er treffen könnte, zu träumen. The better part of his days CROSS EYED PANDA daydreams about places he could visit and famous people he could meet.
